We pride ourselves in our excellent transport and haulage services and believe we are very flexible with regards to the services we offer our clients.
A HIAB is a lorry with a mounted crane (our HIABs are rear mounted behind the drivers cab). A HIAB gives all of the transport, lifting and carrying services you need in one vehicle. It’s hard to specify what a HIAB crane can lift as it could be almost anything within the weight restrictions; as you can see in our Gallery Page – boats, containers, telephone boxes, whatever you wish! If you’re looking for a versatile machine that can both lift and shift materials within confined spaces and at a long reach then a HIAB would meet your needs entirely. With this in mind, we can offer our 18 tonne GVW HIAB which has a payload of 8.5 tonnes, or our 26 tonne GVW with a payload of 12 tonne.
With these highly versatile pieces of equipment, we are able to manoeuvre heavy and awkward objects in to tight or restricted spaces. All HIAB cranes are remote control for ease of operation and safety. These capabilities married with the extensive experience of our drivers allow us to provide professional specialist transport services across the UK.
In January 2019, we made the decision to further develop the company and commit to an impressive standard of driving and record keeping. We moved from FORS bronze to FORS silver and this means that we are committed to drivers training , particularly in and around London, where our lorries share roads with vulnerable road users. We also track and record tyre and fuel usage, making a conscious effort to keep our Co2 emissions at an appropriate level and ‘doing our bit’ to control the impacts of haulage on the environment.
Lifting and Scaffolding Services Ltd ensure all drivers are ALLMI trained and accredited and also hold either CSCS or CISRS cards; allowing access to almost any construction site in the UK. Our HIAB team are supplied with full PPE (Hi-Vis, safety boots, hard hat etc.) and are required to carry photographic I.D at all times. Risk assessments and method statements can be undertaken to ensure safety and best practice.
Our fleet of hire vehicles and Lifting and Scaffolding Services are all controlled and tracked using telemetry software, meaning we can track and trace your delivery 100% of the time. The software allows us fast, safe communication with our drivers, helping us provide you a high quality and efficient service.
